Gold Ridge Landowners to be Relocated for Mining

Two sites have been identified to relocate landowners and villagers of Gold Ridge where mining operations will take place. This was revealed by the Minister for Mines and Energy, Edward Huni’ehu in Parliament yesterday, regarding the development relating to the re-opening of Gold Ridge Mining. Mr Huni’ehu said consultation between landowners, the government and the Australia Solomon Gold company are progressing well. Agreements should be finalized before the end of the month.
