Michael Jackson child abuse claims in FBI file

James Bone,; 24/12/09

Michael Jackson’s FBI file shows agents around the world tracked allegations of child abuse against the late pop star. The FBI yesterday made public 333 pages of Jackson’s 679-page dossier, detailing seven investigations involving the performer, who died in June. The dossier shows the US embassy in London notified police in California in 1993 about claims Jackson had made an obscene telephone call to a 13-year-old British schoolboy. In the same year, FBI agents in The Philippines helped detectives in California to interview a Filipino couple who used to run Jackson’s Neverland ranch. Two years later, the FBI was asked by US Customs in Florida to analyse a VHS video that was marked in part “Michael Jackson’s Neverland Favourites An All Boy Anthology” to see if it contained child pornography.
