Cult practice in schools ‘disturbing’

Cult practices are becoming prevalent in primary schools, including those run by the churches, and are causing a lot of social problems. This was revealed by the co-ordinator of the Anglican Education, Curriculum Division, Tagolyn Kabekabe during the Churches Partnership Program Forum that is being staged at Alexishafen in Madang. Mrs Kabekabe said the cult practices surfaced during the 1970s at the national high school level. However, she said these activities had since spread to primary schools throughout the country and were becoming a contributing factor to the spread of HIV/AIDS. “…Cult practices in schools are causing a lot of problems.
