‘I was held at gunpoint to do porn’ – PNG/Sex Trade
20/2/08
A former school girl who starred in one of the pornographic videos with the Australian runaway porn maker Russell Lorback has confessed that she was held at gunpoint and threatened that she’d be killed if she didn’t agree to make the porn movie with him (Lorback). The woman who requested anonymity told Dr Marat’s independent investigation team that Lorback used another girl to lure her to his house where he held her against her will at gunpoint and gave her three options whether to die, strip for him while he took pictures or have sex with him while he took pictures.

Parkop calls for prostitution to be legalised
Harlyne Joku; 20/2/08
National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop yesterday called for prostitution to be decriminalised so it can be regulated. Mr Parkop said on the FM100 Talk back show yesterday that despite the fact that prostitution was illegal, it is rife in Port Moresby city and happening everyday. He said prostitution must be “decriminalised and regulated”. “If it is decriminalised, it is neither legal nor illegal therefore it can be regulated,” he said. Mr Parkop further disagreed with Justice Minister Dr Allan Marat’s calls for a ban on nightclubs.

You know for some of us who know about the underworld here in PNG know for a fact that, what she is saying is bullshit…. he never held her at gun point, she sold herself to him.
Everyone knows what little girls in KOKOPo get up to, this is no suprise, and say this as a Papua New Guinean.
She should be ashamed of herself…everyone knows about the deep dark beauty of Kokopo when the sun goes down….there is no such thing as unconsensual sex there…if anyone says different then they’re full of shit…!
Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I
can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my
own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
Appreciate it
Hi
I got this started from a friend of mine years ago and have not got a clue how it works. And I am now in New Zealand, this was started in Australia.
Sorry
Luke
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog
and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing
your blog posts. In any case I will be subscribing to your rss feed
and I hope you write again very soon!
Hi
Thank you for your comments. I am very busy but try.
Luke
Prostitution if legalised will make people who don’t have money do more rape. In PNG, we really have an attitude and mentality problem. All in all, most people are illiterate and their understanding of life is paved by customs and culture. We simply cant realise things like confidentiality, respect, consideration for others, understand pros and cons of issues etc. We personalise things a lot.
I am certain that if prostituition is legalised in Papua New Guinea there will be less crime and rape.I would wish if this can be a issue now.
Hi
I am not sure that I agree with you on that, my only experience of anything like Papua New Guinea was in the Solomon Islands. So I am doubtful about what you are saying.
